La Pintada is a name given to the community that grows this coffee. A house sized petroglyph is located here, hence the name “the painted (rock)”
This community holds a rather small population (less than 700) and here we find the farm of the Adame family, producers that today span three generations of coffee growers.
Don Faustino Adame has been growing coffee for more than 50 years. He learned his trade from his father who founded the farm. He is a dedicated farmer who takes pride in his work. Selective picking, cleaning & processing all are done under his watch and often by his own hands,
We found this jewel thanks to Viviana Adame, his daughter, who intends to take her family prized coffee to the next step in the specialty coffee. We are proud to add this beans to COA coffee selections.
